Bodyotomy manufactures high quality anatomically correct models for use in colleges, universities, and high schools.
In addition, the supplied models come with a pre-developed structure list so faculty and students can begin to utilize the models in the classroom as soon as possible.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT: online student access to video tutori

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT: online student access to video tutorials, clinically related information, and a developing histological slide bank to enhance student learning.
It is important that first responders develop the confidence and muscle memory to perform their tasks.
Bodyotomy manufactures various models for paramedics to practice CPR, intubation, cricothyroidotomy, intraosseous vascular access, peripheral intravenous cannulation, fracture stabilization, etc.
Bodyotomy is committed to improve the educational opportunities available to students at all levels.
We seek to develop internships and partnerships with schools and universities to include:
-- Anatomy Education and Research
-- Business Development
-- Bioengineering and more
PARAMEDICS
"Realistic anatomy."
"The model provided a variety of realistic training opportunities."
"Very real feel, not hard plastic."
Anatomy landmarks present vs generic dummy."
"Durable after multiple attempts."
INSTRUCTORS
"Loved the skinned manikin...AND the no skin - Will use both in surgical technology.
- Ability to insert cystoscope/TURP (prostate)"
"Very life like. Great for teaching anatomy."
STUDENTS
"Very realistic and properly proportioned. Will help locate major structures and landmarks in various surgeries."
"...they will be a big help with anatomy."
"These manikins are way more detailed/realistic compared to what I used in lab."
"I love to see the anatomy instead of guessing."
"It allows me to imagine it better because I can touch it and use instruments on it."
Bodyotomy is continually updating its manikins so that they can be used in multiple settings to include:
Mark is a Medical Illustrator, graduating with a degree in Biocommunication Arts from the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center in 1983. He has worked in the Operating Room and taught Surgical Technologists, as well as working as a Paramedic. It is through this background that he found himself designing and fabricating hands-on teaching manikins for training medical professionals.
He is presented here teaching manufacturing techniques to a few interested students.
Michael has spent the last 20-plus years teaching anatomy and physiology, cadaver dissection, and mentoring students in various research projects.
He has most recently attended A.T. Still University, College of Graduate Health Studies researching educational methods applied to first-year medical students in the anatomy lab. Additionally, he has attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic; Midwestern University, College of Graduate Studies with additional work with Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. His current research interests are in neuroscience, vascular causes of headache, clinical anatomy, histology, and education.
During his long tenure in academics and teaching, he realized that many of the anatomical models were prohibitively expensive and of marginal educational value.
He met Mark because his daughter (now a practicing nurse) was his student.
